Requirements for the award are.

There is no time limit to any part of this Award. i.e. The award does not have to be completed within one period of 12 months. ·

One night cannot count towards two challenges.

The Award is worn on the uniform, on the right hand side of the chest, above the union flag (if applicable) and can be worn until leaving the Network / Explorer Scouts.

The award may be started in the Explorer section and completed in the Network.

In special circumstances, e.g. Exam time, 2 separate camps can take place in the same month with the prior approval of the relevant Commissioner.

There is no entry requirement to the Award. i.e. You do not need to hold any of the Scout Section Zodiac Awards.

Integration of the Award for Special Needs Scouts:

For a Scout with Special Needs that would preclude them from outdoor camping, the challenges can be adapted to take place in an indoor environment that allows the requirements of the challenge to be matched as closely as possible.
